The one thing that I have finally caught up on is my Listers Gotta List. Even though I pre-planned the days before I went on my trip last week, I never had time to do them. I have now finally caught up!!! I actually did a couple of days ahead just to make sure I didn't fall behind again this weekend.
Watercolor Droplets
I actually found that doing the little water droplets was very calming. And fun! All those pretty colors. The finished project is no where near as nice as the before picture, but it was so fun to do that I don't even care!
My Little Pony
Painted & Stencil Wood Crate
I picked up this plain wooden crate at Michael's for $12. I decided to paint it Teal to make it match my living room colors. The paint was $12 as well, but I used a 40% off coupon, so it really wasn't too bad. It took me about 2 hours to paint the whole crate. It had to be turned, flipped, painted inside, then the whole thing repeated. It took a while!
Then after it dried I applied my stencil (don't know the name or brand, but it was from Michael's and looks like a Mandala!). I used some Off-White paint and a stippling brush to stencil and at first it was smearing a lot underneath. Then I watched a YouTube video (don't you love YouTube!😉) and realized I was using too much paint. Don't use too much paint! Just have a little and go over the same areas multiple times. I think it turned out great!
