My name is Aynsley and I have been knitting for a couple of years now. It all started when my sister and I decided we would try to learn how to knit dishcloths like our grandma used to. I learned a few techniques from the Beginner Knitting books I picked up. A knit stitch and purl stitch were as foreign to me as being a rocket scientist! I slowly started watching videos on YouTube as well. What a godsend! It helped me out so much.

Over the last year I have begun to try some harder projects as well as stitches that I had never done before - SSK (read my blog about this one!!). Some projects I have found too hard for me and then others that I thought would be hard turned out to be really easy after I got into it. I still make mistakes, but I'm getting better at fixing them! I hope you enjoy reading about my many Knitting Adventures!
As well as knitting, I have now started my Crafting Adventures and have been working on those as well. It all started with me wanting to make some cute tags for my knitting projects and then turned into me making homemade Christmas gifts with homemade tags and of course, homemade Christmas Cards! :)
Since then I have started making more crafty things, and in the process have made mistakes, including burning myself several times on my hot glue gun! (I know, I am not careful at all!) And I have learned a lot of new techniques and have purchased so many new things, like ink pads and stamps! Oh, what fun! I have also started working with watercolours and they are blast to use. There are so many different things you can make with just a few things!
I hope you continue on to my blog and read about all the fun I've been having in all of my Adventures!
