I decided to just try out a stitch type called Bamboo Stitch and then make my own pattern which consisted of just adding knit stitch at each end. This just helped round out the pattern a little nicer.
It is actually a pattern that any beginner could really do. It's this simple....
Yarn over, knit, knit, slip the Yarn Over over the two knit stitches! That's it!
And on the wrong side you purl all the stitches!
The hardest part for me has been trying not to drop those two knit stitches when I'm slipping my yarn over.
It is kind of a pain in the butt until you get into it and then the slipping the yarn over becomes much easier and it's a breeze. Plus, it's just so pretty so it's worth the pain!
I ended up turning this into a buttoned cowl instead of an infinity scarf just because this pattern was really taking too much time. I don't like looking at my work all the time and I found that if I wasn't looking I couldn't pick up my yarn over and slip it over the two knit stitches. It really was a pain in the ass.
So this is what the cowl turned out looking like.
I also made it so you can wear it two ways. One way is with the cowl completely open with then buttons all on the front.
I hope you guys try out this pattern and send me an email if you have any questions!
Happy Knitting!
