I knitted again tonight after my horrible crafting session! I was trying to make some little gift boxes for Christmas treats that will be going out with my dishcloths at Christmas and the glitter glue bottle decided to erupt! I mean everywhere. The ceiling had gold glitter, the walls, my computer, my crafting desk. Everything. It took a while to clean and after I decided that I had had enough crafting for the day. So on to Knitting!
I decided to talk a bit more about SSK.
I took pictures as I was knitting tonight and hopefully this will help explain things for you if you are interested.
I hope those pictures help whomever needs help with SSK stitches.
Text Instructions:
1. Insert right needle into left KNITWISE.
2. Slip stitch to right needle.
3. Repeat 1 +2 so you have two slipped stitches on your right needle.
4. Insert left needle into front of both slipped stitches on right needle.
5. Wrap your yarn around your right needle as you would to knit and knit both stitches together, pulling new yarn through both loops. You should only have ONE stitch now.
If you have any questions about this stitch please comment and I'll try and help as best I can.
Have a good night,
Aynsley
